Hooked On Bands, Incorporated, is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports and encourages the mature amateur musician members of the Madison New Horizons Bands by sponsoring learning and performance opportunities.

2025 Door County Band Camp

“My favorite weekend of the year!” This is the sentiment expressed by many of the adult musicians of New Horizons age who join us every year on the weekend after Labor Day at Lawrence University’s Björklunden campus in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin to make music. All skill levels are welcome. We all participate in full band sessions and there are breakout sessions too – including yoga! Our mission, of course, is to provide an opportunity to grow as musicians and learn from our conductors; our goal, however, is to have fun. Making music with friends in a welcoming environment, what more could be better?
