An agreement between Lawrence University and the Door County Land Trust will preserve more than 300 acres of Bjorklunden, the college’s 441-acre estate south of Baileys Harbor, from future development. That’s according to a news release from the Door County Land Trust, which can be found here: Land Trust.
New Horizons Band members are especially excited about this news because Bjorklunden is home to the Band’s hugely popular annual Band Camp. The camp draws more than 90 musicians from other New Horizons Band from around the state and country, with a few international participants mixed in for good measure.
Band members can now rest assured that the beauty and inspirational nature of Bjorklundjen will remain intact for generations to come.
